The second annual American DanceSport Festival is approaching quickly, as dancers from all over the world make their way to the beautiful beaches of Miami, Florida, in preparation for this highly anticipated event on October 14-15.

Over 400 couples, representing over 35 countries, will be in attendance and competing in multiple categories throughout the weekend. 

You can expect a nonstop weekend from sunup to sundown, but there are some key divisions that you certainly don’t want to miss. We spoke with Ronen Zinshtein the event organizer and asked him which division he was most excited about.

Without hesitation, he replied, “I am excited about them all, but the Adult World Open Standard division is special because we will have the U.S. champions facing off against the European champions.” 

The fact that this event is the most diversely attended dancesport event in the U.S. is reason enough to be excited. However, what’s even more appealing is the fact that this is a USA Dance and WDSF-sanctioned world championship title event -- the only one of its kind hosted in the United States. 

In other words, there won’t be another opportunity to see these high-level professionals compete on this side of the hemisphere, making this a truly unique opportunity.
